Dr. Anna Kravtsov is a general psychiatrist with 11+ years of experience who sees patients, ages 18 and over with various mental health conditions. Dr. Kravtsov strives to understand patients in a holistic manner, taking into account biological, psychological, social and spiritual factors affecting an individual. Dr. Kravtsov’s goals are to provide her patients with an individualized treatment plan, in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. EDUCATION AND TRAINING College-Rutgers University Medical School-Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine Residency-Albany Medical Center Dr. Kravtsov graduated phi beta kappa from Rutgers University with a major in Biological Science and minor in Psychology. She went on to study medicine at the UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic medicine where she learned traditional medicine as well as manual treatment, and obtained her D.O. degree. Following her medical training, she completed a 4-year psychiatric residency program at Albany Medical Center in New York State where she studied the art and science of both psychiatry and psychotherapy. During this period, she gained exposure working in a variety of settings. BOARD CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE Board-Certified in Psychiatry since 2015 Licensed in NJ and NY WORK EXPERIENCE Following residency, Dr. Kravtsov worked at 2 different group private psychiatric practices in NJ. She also worked for a transcranial magnetic stimulation start-up company where she performed TMS evaluations and treatment for patients with Major Depressive Disorder. Dr. Kravtsov has also held non-clinical roles, working as a medical reviewer for MyHealthTeam and clinical analytics specialist for Elsevier. PRACTICE In 2026, I started my own solo practice to create the kind of care I believe patients deserve; thoughtful, unhurried, individualized and evidence-based. In many settings, time constraints make it difficult to fully understand a person’s story. I wanted to build a practice where I could take the time to listen, think carefully, and work collaboratively with each patient, making treatment decisions together. At this time I am in network with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield and also provide self-pay options. Please note that treatment is via telehealth only at this time, making treatment accessible and private. Treatment visits can be conducted from home and work. Clinical services are available in both English and Russian languages. Services include medication management with or without psychotherapy. I can also provide consultation for patients who are currently in psychiatric care with another treatment provider, but are seeking a 2nd opinion.
